Storms of Sorrow

Rain running down the window panes.
Wind howling through the trees.
Thunder echoes through these halls,
Muffling out the endless screams.

Flashes striking in the distance,
Make shadows dance and dim.
The storm raging on outside,
Is nothing compared to whats within.

Eyes wide, staring into nothing.
Hands clawing at the skin.
Pain like nothing he's experienced,
Reaches from her eyes to him.

Desperate searching for the answer.
As pieces of her soul fall away.
All his attempts to catch them,
Just cant keep the sorrow at bay.

Now light dims into darkness.
The shadows eat away at their home.
These tears have turned his dreams into nightmares,
And soon she'll have no place to go.

As the storm continues,
The fight in her slowly dies.
Before his eyes she wilts away,
As clouds black out the sky.
